I’m Anna, a trekking guide (accompagnatrice di media montagna) and International Mountain Leader, registered with the Collegio delle Guide Alpine del Piemonte and UIMLA.

Since I was a child the mountains have been my home.

Over the years I’ve worked in different refuges across the Alps; I’ve walked, from the Alps to the Andes, and found serenity and freedom on trails and summits.

In 2025 I completed the training that turned this passion into a profession — and now I try to share that great love with the people I walk with.

Fin da bambina la montagna è stata la mia casa.

Negli anni ho lavorato in diversi rifugi dell’arco alpino; esplorato, camminando, dalle Alpi alle Ande e trovato serenità e libertà per i sentieri e le vette.

Nel 2025 ho completato il percorso per fare di questa passione una professione e adesso cerco di condividere questo grande amore con le persone che accompagno.

What I offer isn’t a checklist of summits, but a slow and attentive way of being in the mountains, giving each day the pace the mountain asks for: route planning, safety, weather and terrain reading, and the pleasure of a shared walk.

I speak Italian and English fluently, Spanish and French conversationally.

I can’t wait to walk the trails with you!

Quello che propongo non è un elenco di vette, ma un modo lento e attento di stare in montagna, dare a ogni giornata il passo che la montagna chiede: pianificazione, sicurezza, lettura del meteo e del terreno, e il piacere di un cammino condiviso.

Parlo italiano e inglese fluentemente, spagnolo e francese colloquiale.

Intensive professional training

Formazione professionale intensa

In 2025 I finished the UIMLA Mountain Leader training and I’m registered with the Collegio Guide Alpine Piemonte. Liability insurance, emergency communications, the legal title to lead groups — all in order, so we can just focus on the walk.

Nel 2025 ho terminato il percorso da Accompagnatrice di Media Montagna UIMLA e sono iscritta al Collegio Guide Alpine del Piemonte. Assicurazione professionale, comunicazioni d'emergenza e il titolo per accompagnare gruppi: tutto in regola, così possiamo pensare al cammino.

Vicino e in giro per il mondo

Years spent walking around the world — the Andes, the Pyrenees, the Atlas — and, between one trip and the next, the valleys here at home, from the Cottian and Maritime Alps to Mont Blanc. Every journey adds something to the way I read a day in the mountains.

Tanti anni a camminare in giro per il mondo — sulle Ande, sui Pirenei, sull’Atlante — e, tra un viaggio e l’altro, sulle valli di casa, fra Cozie, Marittime e Monte Bianco. Ogni cammino aggiunge qualcosa al modo di leggere una giornata in montagna.

Una passione da condividere

I’d like everyone to come down from a walk feeling better than when they started — having learned something, and feeling a bit more at home among these mountains. My part is to pass on what I love about them, keep a pace that fits the group, and make sure the day works.

Vorrei che dopo una camminata si tornasse a valle stando meglio di prima, avendo imparato qualcosa e sentendosi un po’ più a casa fra queste montagne. La mia parte è trasmettere ciò che mi appassiona, tenere un passo adatto al gruppo e far funzionare la giornata.

I love walking with small groups. The day takes the shape of the people in it — the route, the pace and the stops are thought around who comes along, the weather and what the mountain is doing that morning.

Pontechianale → Rifugio Quintino Sella Pontechianale → Rifugio Quintino Sella Through the Alevè larch forest and Passo San Chiaffredo. Overnight at one of Monviso’s most historic refuges, cradled between two alpine lakes and overlooked by the east face of Monviso. Passaggio per il bosco dell’Alevè e il Passo San Chiaffredo. Notte in uno dei rifugi più storici del Monviso, abbracciato da due laghi alpini e sovrastato dalla parete est del Monviso.

Beyond the proposals above, I gladly put together custom days. We choose the right walk together — weighing the group’s goals, fitness and pace, the season, the weather window and the time you have available. If you have a peak in mind, a valley you’re curious about, or only a vague idea (“we’d like to walk well, finish smiling, eat properly”), write me and we’ll find the right line on the map. Oltre alle proposte qui sopra, faccio molto volentieri giornate su misura. Scegliamo insieme la gita giusta — tenendo conto degli obiettivi del gruppo, della forma fisica, del passo, della stagione, del meteo e del tempo che avete a disposizione. Che abbiate in mente una cima precisa, una valle da scoprire, o solo un’idea vaga («vorremmo camminare bene, tornare contenti, mangiare in un buon posto»), scrivetemi e troviamo insieme la linea giusta sulla mappa.

Learning how to be in the mountains. Imparare a stare in montagna.

I also run training days on how to approach the mountain: reading the weather and the terrain, planning a day, pacing yourself, choosing the right gear — what to bring, what to leave behind, what to do if something changes. For first walkers, for those returning to the trail after a long pause, and for anyone who’d like to feel more confident on their own. Organizzo anche giornate di formazione sull’approccio alla montagna: leggere il meteo e il terreno, pianificare la giornata, gestire il passo, scegliere l’attrezzatura — cosa portare, cosa lasciare a casa, cosa fare se qualcosa cambia. Per chi inizia, per chi torna sui sentieri dopo una lunga pausa, e per chi vuole semplicemente sentirsi più sicuro e autonomo.
